An audience member autographs a sticker that is placed on one of the frames, then together they are slid into a decorative shadow box that has no front or back and has been shown to contain nothing by a lightbulb for illumination. The magician explains that the only way to discern that a canvas is totally blank is to shine a light through it. He turns on the light at the back of the shadow box and it shines through both frames. Clearly, the frames are blank. He even puts his hand behind the canvases and moves it so that all can see his hand's shadow through the canvases. Yet, as the magician gestures, slowly and very eerily, a painting of Father Chrismas appears on one of the canvases. It is removed and the spectator's signature is intact on the newly "Christmas Spirit" painted canvas. A beautiful effect for the Christmas season.
