The Wedge

Designed by Paul Osborne for a theme park production in California, this is a one-of-a-kind prop! On stage sits a thin, angular framework. To prove it's free from mirrors or hidden compartments, girl dancers move through it and around it. The frame sits on a 3" thick base supported by four, 6" diameter casters. The girls return to the stage and attach clear plexi panels to the front and back with cris-cross bungee cords. You can still see through the prop until suddently it fills with smoke and a shape materializes, only to break out the side and be revealed as the illusionist himself! This prop is totaly self-contained with a small fog machine built in and controls available to the hidden magician. It's painted to look like a marble framework, but can be repainted to suit. It needs minor paint touch-up, but comes complete with fog juice, bungees and plexi. $1,200 plus $100 for crating, plus shipping.
