This has never been a plan until now, yet it was one of Abbott's top selling illusions. It was popular because, #1 - it fooled the audience, #2 - it was easy to do and, #3 - it was easy to troup with. The effect is straightforward: A massive chain is threaded through a coffin-shaped board, making an eerie sound as it passes through the holes in the board. The performer stands in front of the prop as the spectators thread the chain through the board, locking him tightly in place. Yet, in only a matter of moments he escapes, leaving the chain still locked and from where he once stood, a skeleton looks at the audience. This one is a real fooler, yet so easy to build, transport and perform. A one-of-a-kind plan!
